| MILLY BEGLEYDirector/ Co-Choreographer/ Costume designer/ Musician
Milly Bea had a somewhat bohemian childhood with liberal parents and, thankfully, clear boundaries that did not suppress her imagination She grew up singing, with her multifaceted artist mother, performing self taught dance routines in full costume, darling!! She entered talent quests throughout her youth. After 10 years practicing Holistic Massage Milly found herself co-creating Flame in 2000 with Holly. She has learnt an immense amount from nearly 9 years of hands-on involvement in the numerous levels of all Flame's productions. As one of Flame's star performers and creator of our eye catching costumes she now has the broadening experience of managing all aspects of Flame. An opportunity which is creatively exciting since the reshuffling and moving on of beloved friends and co-directors earlier in 2008. Milly also performs as a singer /song writer playing regular acoustic gigs around Queenstown. |
| MARK GODDENStage Manager/ Prop designer/Pyrotech
Mark hails from England and moved permanently to New Zealand in 2001. He started juggling at university 16 years ago and has a wealth of performance experience and circus skills including juggling devil sticks, Diablo, stilt walking and acro balance. As early as 1990 Mark started performing with various fire toys in front of big crowds doing a two person show at a combined Guy Fawkes, Diwali celebration to 5000 people in Leicester England. Whilst living in the U.K he performed at many large festivals including Glastonbury, Womad and Reading Festivals. After years of attending the large circus conventions in Europe, Mark discovered fire staff and pois whilst traveling in Australia and New Zealand and soon became highly proficient. Mark has a vast experience of street performance in Europe, America and Australasia, even performing in Raratonga and to Tibetan monks whilst in Spiti, northern India. On migrating to New Zealand he has set up his own company Pyromonkey Fire Toys producing all manner of performance props. He creates all of Flame's fiery toys and irons out any technichal problems as our head safety officer and stage manager. |

| ANNA STUARTChoreographer/Pyrotech
Anna Stuart has been dancing since early childhood and opened her own dance school at age 14. She achieved the highest qualifications in British Tap, American Jazz and the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet. She is one of Flame's key performers and has enriched Flame's fire shows with her extensive dance background. Anna became the fourth director of Flame in late 2005 and is now one of our chief choreographers and the manager of Flame Dance - an arm of Flame dedicated to contemporary and innovative dance. |
| HOLLY WADEMANCo -Founder
Holly Wademan has worked with fire since '98, but her love of dance and performance began at age five. She studied classical ballet and jazz ballet for 12 years, followed by theatre at Charles Sturt University Australia, where she learnt how to dance with fire. Holly has produced numerous fire shows in NZ, Australia and the UK, including conceptualising the fire scene at Sydney Olympic Games opening cermony. In '04 Holly was granted a scholarship to attend the world's largest and craziest fire festival held in the Nevada desert in the US - Burning Man where she picked up numerous new ideas and skills, including fire hula! Holly also works as a photographer and journalist, this discipline and professional efficiency assisted the development of Flame Fire Productions. Holly is currently traveling the globe, presently experiencing life in Europe. |
